United States of America: Project Manager - Information Management Platform for Humanitarian Performance Monitoring

The position will lead for the management and delivery of an Information Management platform for Humanitarian Performance Monitoring in a minimum of 5 UNICEF Country Offices. The platform will be consistent, utilize and integrate established UNICEF performance management systems and tools as much as possible. It will be consistent and support UNICEF's cluster lead agency accountability and compatible with broader Inter-Agency platform initiatives.

The position represents the first year of a 2 year project. It will be based in UNICEF HQ New York, with travel to the 5 selected UNICEF County Offices.

More specifically the position will be responsible for:

· Overall Project Management

· Conceptual design of the platform

· Development of the IM for HPM platform

· Manage the Field testing of the platform at the UNICEF Country Office Level

· Periodic assessment of progress at the country level

Main responsibilities and tasks

Within scope of Overall Project Management.

(10%) Conceptual design of the platform

(10%) Recommended platform development and maintenance options

(25%) Manage the software development process / solution

(25%) Manage the Field testing of the platform at the UNICEF Country Office Level

(25%) Ongoing support to 5 UNICEF Country Offices

(5%) Periodic assessment of progress at the country level
