Chemonics seeks multiple long-term technical experts for an anticipated multiyear, USAID-funded program to accelerate the introduction and scale-up of priority health technologies and interventions in support of USAID's Global Health Bureau/Center for Accelerating Innovation and Impact priorities. This program will provide support to ensure the use of state-of-the-art, demand generation strategies to generate awareness for care-seeking within target populations and increase health product uptake and ensure high-impact health systems strengthening interventions. Positions will be based in Washington, D.C., with travel to the field. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world?.

Chemonics seeks technical specialists with expertise in the following areas:

  • ?Design and implementation of demand generation strategies and campaigns through existing or new channels
  • Conducting market research around current and potential future needs specific to behavior change and demand generation
  • Using relevant media and tools to evaluate and share results of demand generation campaigns
  • Monitoring the production of communication materials and other elements of a demand generation campaign and distributing materials through appropriate channels
  • Reaching large target audiences; creating content and brand communications to convey the value of a product or service

Qualifications:

  • ?Master's degree or higher in international development, public relations, marketing and communications, business, or other relevant field
  • Minimum five years of experience in international development, marketing, or similar fields
  • Experience designing, developing, and implementing large-scale targeted demand generation or behavior change campaigns, especially health-related campaigns
  • Ability to build and maintain professional working relationships with donors, industry experts, partners and staff
  • Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
  • Excellent English written and oral communication skills required; French, Spanish, or Portuguese language skills preferred
