The ABAP/WD Programmer will work under the supervision of the FM/PS/GM/HACT team Technical team leader. Related tasks and responsibilities will include:
Main functions, duties and responsibilities:
· Develop system changes, enhancements and reports using ABAP, WebDynpro, Smartforms and Adobe forms technologies in SAP FM, PS, GM, and FI modules.
· Support custom enhancements of the Planning, Allocation, HACT modules.
· Bug Fixes, modifications and troubleshooting in the area of Funds Management, Grants Management, Project System, HACT and its related workflows.
· Performance Tuning and performing the analysis of the potential improvement in the existing SAP GUI and WebDynpro applications.
· Support of all other programme, funds management, grants management, and HACT related utility function modules and methods which integrate with FI and other modules.
· Support the custom build modules and its relevant ring fencing based on the structural authorization.
· Ensure knowledge transfer to UNICEF staff
Qualifications and Experience:
The minimum qualification required are:
- University degree in Business administration, Computer Science, Information systems management or related field.
- Minimum 5 of years of hands-on experience in programming, maintaining SAP applications using ABAP and/or ABAP Objects, Developing Custom enhancements and reports.
- Experience in understanding the identified gaps and provide solution(s), translate it to technical efforts and estimate the work for the same.
- Experience in writing technical specifications.
- Experience in leading team of developers, conducting Code reviews and ensuring quality of development.
- Experience in programming interfaces and transferring data from/to SAP and external systems.
- Experience with Smartforms, ADOBE forms, Workflow and web services.
- Experience in testing procedures and protocols.
Duration of Consultancy: This contract will be for a period of 4 months with an option to extend. The selected candidate is expected to work 8 hours/day.
Expected Start Date: 2 January 2015
Hourly Rate: $50 - $75 per hour
