Position Summary & Responsibilities: Provide technical support primarily for HQ and regional office end-users, field staff, roving staff, interns, and visitors for all computer (both hardware/software), printer, server, and networking equipment issues. Primary role is to support, analyze, document and standardize computer hardware and software systems. Must be able to effectively install and repair computers in a timely manner, as well as, assist in various IT projects and training of end-users.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Daily support, maintenance and deployment of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals in a medium size Windows environment;
  2. Address and resolve internal trouble tickets;
  3. Complete requests for hardware and software as needed;
  4. Virus scanning and cleaning as needed;
  5. Windows Patch Management;
  6. Create and maintain corporate OS images;
  7. Reload PC images and configure PC’s based on user requirements;
  8. Follows IT Department policy and procedures at all times;
  9. Perform other duties as assigned. The duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive;

Skills & Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals in medium size Windows environment (minimum 300 node network);
  2. Intermediate server and LAN administration experience;
  3. Basic to intermediate understanding of ITIL concepts;
  4. Altiris, LANDesk, Dell Kace, and/or any other desktop management product experience a big plus;
  5. Intermediate knowledge in Windows XP/7, MAC OS, MS Office, Internet Explorer, Antivirus, Patch Management, and peripheral support;
  6. Must demonstrate the ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment;
  7. Must be able to effectively multi-task with complete follow through;
  8. Must be energetic, self motivated, and flexible;
  9. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and written skills;
  10. Must have the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users
