Director of Regional Policy Initiative: Conduct Policy analysis and advocacy on issues in Middle East, Afghanistan and Pakistan. Draft op-eds, briefing papers, reports and implement advocacy strategies to influence regional and international targets. Engage in direct advocacy and media work related to original research and specific campaigns. Manage staff/consultants. 10% domestic, 30% international travel. MA Political Science required plus 7 - 10 years' experience as Political Scientist, Reporter or Human Rights analyst relating to regions at issue, at least 3 of which involves political research and media advocacy/strategy, including on-site experience.
