Creative is currently recruiting for staff for the Guatemala Sustainable Economic Observatory project to be funded by USAID. All positions require fluency in Spanish. Proficiency in English is desired but not required. Vacancies include:
1. Chief of Party
Required skills
- Experience working with national ministries, private sector, associations, grass roots organizations, local government officials, and other donors.
- A law degree or a master’s degree in social science, public administration, economics or related field is required.
- 5-7 years’ experience working on donor funded projects focusing on strengthening coordination of information and public policy advocacy.
- Prior experience as COP or D/COP for USAID projects is highly preferred.
- Candidates must be bilingual in Spanish and English
2. Financial/Administrative Officer
Required skills
- Masters Degree or recognized professional degree such as CPA
- Knowledge of US and local accounting practices is required
- 5-7 years’ experience working financial management, preferably with USAID or donor funded projects.
3. Data Analysis/Monitoring and Evaluation Manager
Required skills
- Demonstrated capacity to coordinate the consolidation of data from multiple sources and partners, and oversee the analysis of this data in the Observatory system.
- Five years’ experience in Data analysis and M&E activity design, administration, management and oversight for US or Guatemala Government-funded initiatives
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field is required.
4. Data Visualizer Specialist
Required skills
- Proven experience in for designing, implementing and managing a system to convert data/information into information products that can be disseminated broadly to stakeholders for advocacy.
- Five years’ experience in data analysis and visualization and minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field is required.
5. Community Mobilization/Advocacy Specialist
Required skills**:**
- Significant experience in mobilizing network and organizations around policy development and social auditing.
- Three to five years’ experience in communications, community mobilization, and policy development/advocacy
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field is required.
6. Database Manager
Required skills:
- Significant experience in database maintenance/management.
- Three to five years’ experience in database development and management
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field is required.
