Project Summary:
The USAID Monitoring & Evaluation Support Program (MESP) will provide evaluation assistance, M&E training and support, and strategic communications assistance to the USAID Mission in Jordan as well as local implementing partners. The program will enable the Mission to fulfill its performance monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and information sharing as mandated by Agency guidance.
Position Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for all facilities management of the MSI Amman office, coordination of travel and events. The Logistics Coordinator reports to the Finance and Administration Manager and will work closely with the Procurement and HR Manager.
Please note: This is a local position. Only candidates with Jordanian citizenship will be considered.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with office setup.
- Provide travel support and organization for international and domestic travel.
- Organization and support of events such as training and conferences.
- Liaise with national authorities, i.e. visas, police registration, access to diplomatic compound, vehicle registration, and any other official activities for the smooth maintenance of the projects.
- Manage facilities in Amman MSI office, put in work requests for vendors, as needed.
- Work with the Procurement Manager to identify new vendors.
- Daily line management of logistics team, including cleaning and maintenance staff.
- Work with the Procurement Manager to maintain the MSI inventory list.
- Daily Vehicle fleet and fuel management (including vehicles and generators), as per procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience is required.
- High degree of professionalism, adaptability and organization.
- Strong sense of self-direction and the ability to carry out tasks with little oversight.
- Attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Strong IT stills including proficiency using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required.
- Fluency in English and Arabic required.
