Job title: SharePoint/Collaboration Architect/Specialist

Job Length: 6 months

Required Skills:

Analysis, Development, Documentation, ECM product suites such as SharePoint 2010/2013, SharePoint Online, Information technologies such as Windows Azure and cloud technologies, Development tools such as ASP.NET and C#, XML/Opendata.

Job Details:

· Develop the applications architecture and blueprints which reflect business logic of the line of business

o Create functional and technical design documents, translate business requirements into system requirements, Map out gaps and functionalities in the new platform. Perform gap analysis for legacy applications. Produce technical specifications for migrating legacy applications.

o Design/Develop/Setup a PoC (Proof of Concept) for New Applications and new requirements. Coordinate with staff/contractors and vendors in developing the PoC.

o Lead and facilitate information gathering sessions to validate business cases, gather and document business and functional objectives.

· Conducts reviews and analysis of needs and goals for the development and implementation of ECM applications including review current web services deployed and Define/Develop the Service Oriented Applications Architecture and ensuring Scalability, Reusability and Adaptability

· Perform technical architecture design and analysis work ;

o Develop/Define the Architecture for New Collaborative and Document/Process automation Architecture (Strategy for Central On-premise/Cloud Farm, and Hybrid Applications). Define/Develop the Physical Architecture / Logical Architecture / Capacity planning and make sure that it’s scalable/Adaptable.

o Review and Develop, Define the integration architecture for SharePoint to integrate with various disparate systems (SAP / Custom Developed Apps/SAAS solutions/Third party functionality etc.,).

· Understand, advocate, and provide strategy, guideline, and guidance on appropriate use of ECM (SharePoint/Windows Azure/Cloud) technologies , the types of configurations that’s available, the limitations of the functionality, and what can be achieved via OOTB (Out of the Box) or Customization with focus on ECM, Document automation, Process automation and workflow based applications.

· Lead/Perform the hands-on development of reusable .Net/C# components (web parts, application pages, page layouts, Business connectivity services, Visualization widgets, Office Apps, SharePoint Apps etc.) for enterprise scale Portal, Collaborative, and Custom Web Applications.

· Integration of the Information Architecture / Taxonomy /classification/Search across SharePoint/Collaborative applications space for the whole Enterprise

· Integration of discrete/third party applications deployed either on premise, cloud or SAAS with existing and new applications

· Work with Chief and Project Managers to define the architecture and design the solutions to address business needs and opportunities. Provide advice and guidance on best practices.

· Participate in Architectural Peer Review activities with other Groups (DBA / TA / etc.).

· Analyze technology industry and market trends and determine potential impact upon the line of business ; Work with key vendors to understand product offering and roadmaps.

· Responsible for Mentoring and educating SharePoint/Web/Collaborative Apps Development Team.

· Implement best practices and Governance procedures for SharePoint based custom solutions for both SharePoint 2013, SharePoint Online environments and Custom Web applications

· Produce high quality documentation as per UNICEF standards.

· Define project deliverable standards and ensure quality of customer deliverables and alignment to industry best practices

· Produce high quality and on-time project deliverables using a Project Management methodology.

· Ensure knowledge transfer to UNICEF staff.

Skills / Knowledge / Experience:

· University degree in Business administration, Computer Science, Information systems management or related field.

· Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in development and deployment of Microsoft and SharePoint based technologies

· Hands-On Knowledge of MS/SharePoint based application and toolsets required.

· Prior experience in migrating/converting applications from Notes/Domino to MS/SharePoint an advantage,

· In depth knowledge of SharePoint/Windows Azure technologies. In depth understanding and knowledge of the building blocks of SharePoint/Windows Azure and MS technologies.

· Experience working in Microsoft technologies (.NET, C#, ASP.NET, IIS, Virtual Directories, ADFS/LDAP integration, Identity management), SharePoint 2010/2013, Online. Windows Azure and cloud technologies. Experience integrating with Oracle, MS SQL Server and in memory databases. Integration of third party tools/functionality into SharePoint/C#/.Net based custom applications.

· Highly knowledgeable in front-end development languages/technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and other frameworks) and ASP.NET web development

· Knowledge of other Collaboration and Workflow based applications essential.

· Must have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

· Must have the ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines.

· Must be able to work in multi-cultural and diverse environment.
