OBI is seeking an experienced field worker to serve as a Project Manager in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. This individual willreside in Haiti and coordinate with Haitian team members to implement various humanitarian projects, maintain existing relief efforts, and provide administrative and reporting support.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:

· Experience implementing projects for humanitarian or disaster relief efforts with emphasis in health, agriculture or construction desirable

· Willingness to relocate to Port-au-Prince, Haiti

· Ability to navigate coordination efforts with government agencies and non-government organizations (NGOs)

· Strong ability to assess resources, plan, track, and report project status and outcomes

· Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to speak Creole and/or French helpful

· Proficient in Microsoft Office, and industry standard inventory and transportation applications

· Excellent logistical, decision making and problem solving skills

· Team leadership skills with ability to coordinate diverse groups of people while overseeing complex projects and working relationships

· Self-starter with ability to effectively perform in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work with cross-cultural teams

· Able to work well under pressure, meet deadlines and effectively multi-task
