Program Overview
The Transparency, Accountability, and Participation Civil Society Platform (TAP) is an informal coalition of CSOs working together for the past year to ensure that good governance is at the heart of the United Nations' Post-2015 framework. TAP's conception of "accountable governance" is framed by notions of rule-of-law, transparency, accountability and citizen participation, as well as respect for human rights. Within this proposal, the term accountable governance will be used as shorthand, incorporating the abovementioned ideas. TAP includes institutional members, including, among others, Transparency International, the International Budget Partnership, CAFOD, Save the Children, Integrity Action, The Ploughshare Group, Development Initiatives, Publish What You Fund, Global Witness, United Nations Association of the USA, and Plan International.
TAP is advocating for:

- Transparent and accountable mechanisms for, and citizen participation in the implementation and monitoring of the SDGs.
