The foundation has been active in rural Jacmel, Haiti for 2 years. We are now looking to expand and implement projects in the United States, focusing on low-income communities in Atlanta and Miami. As such, we are in need of a project design expert, to conduct extensive research on current programs and identify gaps and dynamics within communities. Based on results, the project design volunteer will effectively design innovative projects that would be easily replicated and sustained. There is a great amount of research and writing associated with this position and the incumbent must be willing to work closely with the grant writer and senior staff to effectively construct competitive proposals.
The right candidate should have a great interest in women's issues both in the United States and globally; be an innovator; and is willing to take full initiative of the tasks at hand.
