Manager, Product Marketing
Reporting to the Director of Product Marketing, the Manager will be responsible for helping to drive growth of the UNICEF Market E-Commerce web shop, managing existing licensees, and overseeing USF’s brick and mortar retail stores.
Key Responsibilities/Outcomes (include but are not limited to):
E-Commerce Site – A new e-commerce website, UNICEF Market,is launching in October. The Manager will: (40%)
- Monitor USF site analytics and make changes to the site to maximize sales
- Work directly with USF’s web host to integrate changes to UNICEF Market as needed
- Work with PR to develop and execute campaigns to promote UNICEF Market
- Stay up to date in marketing trends in leading shopping sites to ensure that UNICEF Market is best in class
- Help develop content that tells the UNICEF story in an engaging way
Retail stores (UNICEF House and the UN) (30%)
- Develop and execute sales and stock plans
- Attend trade shows and identify new products to purchase and sell
- Ensure all products and vendors meet appropriate compliance regulations
- Order and re-order all stock and supplies
- Maintain a well merchandised selling floor
- Train, manage and motivate the Volunteer sales staff and temp help
- Ensure shops open and close daily in a timely manner
- Maintain daily sales records and provide records to USF Finance Department as required
- Work with POS Systems provider and USF Systems to ensure service
Licensees (20%)
- Provide direction to licensees to ensure that UNICEF products and collateral materials, including catalogs, adhere to UNICEF brand guidelines
- Ensure that licensees are providing necessary reports
Team Support (10%)
- Code and record incoming revenue
- Track expenses and prepare check requests
- Schedule meetings and reserves resources
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of five years’ experience in retail sales and merchandising
- Experience in developing and executing sales plans and achieving positive ROI
- Experience managing an E-Commerce site strongly preferred
- Ability to effectively collect, analyze, organize, distill and present information
- Must have excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills and be detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize while working under multiple deadlines
- Ability to identify and pursue new opportunities
- Ability to generate pragmatic solutions for potential roadblocks
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate a strong commitment to providing excellent customer satisfaction
- Ability to build relationships with individuals with diverse personalities and styles and at different levels of seniority
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
